GdS: Spurs in ‘very advanced’ talks with Milan midfielder over €8m/yr deal – four other targets

A double blow has arrived for AC Milan as Antonio Conte not only wants a striker target at Spurs but also a Rossoneri midfielder, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Conte has agreed to join Tottenham but in doing so he made it clear that a lot of changes in the squad will be needed in January, and his understanding with director Fabio Paratici means that the trust is there for him to make requests in terms of recruitment.

Both Dusan Vlahovic – who has repeatedly been linked with the Rossoneri – and Franck Kessie stand out among the multitude of targets, which also includes Inter centre-back duo Stefan De Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni as well as Lazio wide man Manuel Lazzari.

Regarding Kessie, the dialogue between his entourage and Spurs appears at a ‘very advanced stage’ as the midfield appears inclined to leave Milan on a free transfer at the end of the season. He is asking for €8m net per season without bonuses and it seems Paratici wants to beat PSG to his signature, with Spurs now the club most likely to land him.
