The stars of the last Scudetto are at risk, and AC Milan could see the old era of talent make way for a new wave.
From the 2021/22 season, many have already gone. However, the best names and characters have remained. Now, it will change, it seems, as many are on the verge of exits or are linked away from the Rossoneri.

A crossroads is in place, and there is a lot still to be decided. Nevertheless, the fact is clear: the untouchables are no longer that, or at least the majority are not.
On the way
Theo Hernandez, Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori and Rafael Leao. Four of the big protagonists of the title win, now, questions are asked about each and uncertainty is more than present.
Quotidiano Sportivo reports that there are ‘delicate and different’ situations surrounding each player. So, it is probably easiest to start with Rafael Leao, who is looking most likely to stay, especially after comments earlier today.
Fikayo Tomori, then, also needs to be evaluated, with another central defender likely to be inbound. However, his position is stronger than Malick Thiaw’s, though an exit cannot be ruled out.
For the French duo, things are more difficult to see ending well. Theo is now, again, considering a move to Saudi Arabia, after Atletico Madrid raised their wall to the move above a certain price. A mess indeed. Then, Mike Maignan has also sought an exit, but a renewal is now possible. Again, it is difficult to assess.
What is clear, though, is that the remaining stars are no longer as safe, barring Leao, who remains central.
