Study claims Milan are behind Napoli and Roma in club value after record losses

By Isak Möller -

Bad news for Elliott Management and AC Milan. In the last four years, the club value has decreased and the numbers are quite frankly disastrous. After the heavy losses, they are now behind Napoli and Roma.

The numbers come from a study carried out by KPMG and were highlighted by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via Milanlive.it) this morning. As you would expect, Juventus are in first place among the Italian teams, while Inter increased their value by 42%.

The Rossoneri, on the other hand, is the sore point for Italian football. Among the 32 best teams in Europe, Milan are the only club to have seen their value decrease (-3%) in the last four years. In addition, they have accumulated record losses of €442m.

As a result of the poor sporting results, Milan’s value has fallen to €526m, which means they are in 22nd place. Napoli and Roma are both higher up on the list, while Lazio are in 28th place.
