MN: Stuttgart leading chase as German, Italian and English clubs pursue Bondo signing

AC Milan are hoping to make a few sales this summer and Warren Bondo is among the likely departures, it seems.

Ruben Amorim has remained keen to assess everyone at Milanello this summer. However, a few decisions have already been made about players who must stay or can already leave and Bondo is among them.

Indeed, the former Monza man is available, with Amorim not seeing a place for him within an already packed midfield. So, Milan will look to make some money back on the price which they paid to buy him a few windows ago.

Bondo to depart

According to MilanNews, the midfielder has plenty of interest from across Europe, with German and English clubs joining a host of Italian clubs in their interest. However, it would appear that Stuttgart are leading the chase currently.

The German club have already made inquiries for the Frenchman, who would join a pretty young midfield core. However, it would appear that they are not alone in that. Indeed, Udinese are also considering a move after Arthur Atta’s departure.

An exit can certainly be expected this summer, with interest ramping up. It certainly seems like the outbound mercato is waking up now, which is only a good thing.

  1. Tomori, (Filippo) Terracciano, Estupinan = cca 40
Bondo, *Fofana, Bennacer, Ricci, Loftus = 50-60
*Musah, *Chukwueze, Leao, *Gimenez = 120

  2. And in a couple of years Bondo will be called into France’s incredibly talented midfield, like Kone, who was also allowed to slip through Milan’s hands. But today, if I had to choose, I would stick with what we have. Milan seems overloaded with CMs.
