AC Milan winger Suso has thanked the Curva Sud for their support during Wednesday night’s Coppa Italia win over SPAL.
It was a routine night’s work against Serie A’s bottom-placed club as Krzysztof Piatek, Samu Castillejo and Theo Hernandez fired the Rossoneri into the quarter-finals with a 3-0 victory.
Suso was the first substitute deployed by Stefano Pioli in place of the impressive Castillejo, and while he was jeered and whistled upon entry by most of the stadium, the Curva Sud behind the goal cheered and chanted his name.
The Spaniard thanked them for their support on Instagram, posting a picture of him acknowledging the Curva with the caption: “Grazie ragazzi 🙏🏼🔴⚫” / “Thanks guys”.
