The Cadiz native, Suso, has been in contract negotiations for months now, and it finally can be completed by next week.
Milan have offered the Spanish winger an additional two years on his contract, which would span until 2021. He has a salary worth €3million plus bonuses on the table.
Before the closing, Galliani had already worked out the basis of the contract.
Suso’s father, and agent is optimistic that his son will put pen to paper soon.
He spoke to Gazzetta dello Sport, and assured that his son is likely to remain at San Siro.
“There’s nothing official right now,” Jesus Fernandez told the newspaper.
“What I can say is that things are going well right now, and that a renewal can be considered probable. Right now we’re waiting for the club.”
