Tuttosport: Spurs defender determined to wait for Milan despite €20m Nottingham Forest bid

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have a preferential lane in their attempts to sign Japhet Tanganga from Spurs as the player wants the move, a report claims.

According to a report this morning from Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Nottingham Forest have entered the race to sign Tanganga and have even offered €20m to sign him straight away in a permanent deal.

The player however has not given approval to joining Forest just yet because he would rather join Milan who can boast the prospect of playing in the Champions League and competing for trophies.

The problem in the talks between the Italian champions and the London club remains the formula, as the Rossoneri management are keen on a Tomori-style loan with option to buy deal.

However, at the moment Spurs are only willing to accept a loan with obligation to buy or a loan with option that becomes an obligation under certain conditions.
