Ahead of this weekend’s game against Genoa, Giorgio Furlani has attended training at Milanello to offer support to the AC Milan team.
In the Milan sphere, there are few people more polarising than Furlani. The CEO is certainly not the most popular member of the management and there are several calls for him to leave the club. Both inside San Siro, outside it and on social media.

At this point, it almost feels like an inescapable wish of the Milanisti is for him to depart the club.
Furlani at Milanello
As Peppe Di Stefano reported for Sky, via MilanNews, the CEO arrived at Milanello earlier today to watch the training session with Igli Tare. As is common, he arrived earlier than the Italian, given it is part of his job to regularly oversee training.
Nevertheless, it follows the meeting at Casa Milan yesterday – where Tare was also present – and his words to Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, where he discussed his reaction to seeing the protest from the Curva Sud.
It all feels like a last-ditch effort to save face from Furlani. With the walls seemingly closing in on him, he is trying to do everything possible to show that he can continue in his job and publicly show that he is still making an effort to help the season. Whether it will be successful is something else entirely…

Furlani wears the long tie style too?
GF Out
Furlani can GTFO. His presence polluted the air at Milanello.

Good maybe he can understand what football really is. Since he came on power here is what he has achieved.
Financial stability (given he comes from that background it is expected) this is why he is still there.
Champions League semi-final
though this was largely built on Maldini’s work before this twat had fully taken the rein
This is the list of failures
Sacking Paolo Maldini After winning the Scudetto under Maldini’s tenure
Overstepping into sporting decision
Cost-cutting at the expense of competitiveness
Managerial instability, we cycled through coaches since he came in power (Pioli, Fonseca, Conceiçao, Allegri
Poor communication Since 2024, Furlani has not responded to journalists’ questions in press conferences, nor given live TV interviews to the Italian press
For me the sooner we realise he is the rootcause the better it is. If I compare him to Ivan Gazidis, this guys performance has been really poor. Replace him urgently, there is no need to wait a day on that decission and then other stuff can be sorted slowly.
That is what I would do as the owner
