Igli Tare seems like the most obvious choice to be AC Milan’s new sporting director, and he already has an idea for a signing this summer.
Considering the challenges in bringing Tony D’Amico to the club, it seems increasingly likely that Tare will arrive to be the new sporting director. We’ve already dove into the situation a little, and whilst there are a few negatives attached to it, he’s also the only candidate reportedly planning ideas.
It has previously been reported that he would ideally bring Massimiliano Allegri to Milan, and it seems that he is already trying to build on this.
As SportMediaset (via Milan News) write this morning, the Albanian has highlighted Jonathan Burkardt as a primary target for the club this summer. The Striker has been on fire for Mainz this season, scoring 15 times and assisting three times.
Born in 2000, he still has a lot of time to progress further, and with him not playing for one of Germany’s ‘giants’, he could be available for a more feasible price, which could interest the Rossoneri even further.
Additionally, he has also earned his first cap with the German National Team side, which is something that will only boost his image for the club. It will certainly be interesting to see whether this affects the Diavolo’s pursuit of Tammy Abraham.
Excelent striker and player, talented with a lot of energy. I hope we can snatch him before bigger and richer clubs will be after him. I want a change in our formation tactic . I want Milan plays with two strikers and give up on trident formation with two wings . I would sell Leao if he don’t want to play as second striker but I would keep Pulisic who is more versatile and he can play second striker or advanced offensive midfielder. A 3-4-1-2 or 4-3-1-2 formation in my opinion will work much better for us than any formation with 3 man in front, two wingers and one isolated striker like now.
Bigger and richer??? I get the richer part, but bigger? Only Rela Madrid can make that claim
We are not a big club anymore. Historic yes, but in present times we are medium club at european level.
A club that has won only 1 Seria A title in the last 15 years cannot be the biggest club in that period.
History is subjective to time. Unfortunately we cannot continue to live in the 90’s.
The reality on ground as of today, in the most current history, we are a mid-top club, honestly I’m being modest out of respect I have for my darling club.
Until we tell ourselves the truth at Milan and understand the realities on ground we will never get out of our troubles.
This is the reason we always apply emergency approach and fail to build from the point we exactly are, we cannot expect to be the biggest overnight, we have to walk strategically to reclaim our spot, we have the history that backs us.
you are right! leao needs to learn to play second striker
Can we afford him? 35 million.
Good number. 15 goals, 3 assist.
He hasn’t been hired yet but he’s already identifying targets? LOL!!! The media…. I swear.
Let’s finish the season before saying who is the new director and rumours of players they want.
