Before the game, Igli Tare addressed a few things that were missing from the AC Milan team and after their performance, the urgency of the summer window arising is higher than ever.
In many ways, the collapse seen from this Milan team is impressive. They have gone from a Scudetto contender to a potential Europa League team in just a few months. It may not be that extreme, but right now, you couldn’t confidently say that the Rossoneri will be fine.
The Rossoneri have more than a few areas to address and it will be a costly operation to fix the team. Of course, to afford this, they must get back into the Champions League. Failing that only restarts the current cycle.
Tare’s mercato insight
Ahead of the game against Sassuolo, Tare spoke to the media and Gazzetta dello Sport relayed his words specifically about the mercato. It is good to hear that reinforcements are to be expected; they are certainly needed.
A move for Kone?
“He’s definitely a player who had an excellent season with Sassuolo, like the entire team. He’s a player with certain characteristics and also knows the high levels, having played some important matches in France. He could be a key player for Sassuolo.”
The summer…
“Are all parties aligned for the future? Absolutely. We have this practice almost every week, having lunch together or meeting at Casa Milan with the coach and Furlani. We’re in agreement on what we need to do for next season and what’s missing from this team.
“Is there a plan to re-form that core Italian team? Absolutely, but I think there’s also been excellent work done with the players coming from Milan’s youth academy. There are some excellent players who trained with the first team during the season: we’re keeping a close eye on that.
“Yes, also. We’re also looking at some of the characteristics of players who can allow the team to play differently. It will be an important season; we must try to present ourselves with a quality squad but also with a team that can play in different ways.”

More words that will eventually lead to nothingness and poor transfer campaign, run by Napoleon and Moncada, not Tare who will only handle the outgoing transfers (they’re more important to this management than the incoming, that’s why he was hired in the first place).
Sure. Nice fake story you keep trying to sell as truth. Ridiculous.
Gila, Grimaldo, Goretzka, Gomes
DC (Ake), RWB, MC, SC (Sorloth)
Odogu (at least loan him), Pervis, RLC, Leao, Santi
This team was never a CL team, minus Modric. We just somehow managed to be there up top. I never saw a game that had identity or signature, same boaring Allegrino Football. God help us, we have touched the bottom.
main goal: to be serie A & UCL participant
strategy: buy cheap sell high & capital gain priority
tactic: sell the best player to higher bider, spend/ bet on wash-up injury-prone
philosophy: why spend 80m in player like Rodri if we can get holy trinity of Musah, Bondo & Jashari
People like Furlani annoys me, he was in the news doing interviews every week when we where winning, but now? barely heard a pip since winter transfer window. No leaders there.
Also where is Zlatan? wasn’t he suppose to be close to the squad? Its like everyone ran in hiding as soon as result are bad.
