Igli Tare has been present at Milanello as usual this week, but he chose to have some interesting individual conversations with players.
Milan are in a dark period at the moment as they try to get ove the line in their quest for a Champions League return. They have racked up five defeats in the last seven rounds and only one goal – from Adrien Rabiot against Verona – in the last five games.

Yet, they remain third in the table and still have qualifying for Europe’s top competition in their hands. At training on Tuesday, Sky (via Calciomercato.com) report that Tare took a bit more of a hands-on approach.
Talks with struggling duo
The sporting director of the Milanese club was at the training complex yesterday where he took the opportunity to interact with some of his players, having personal and individual conversations.
From what is filtering through, the Albanian spoke at length with some members of the squad, including Christopher Nkunku and Ardon Jashari. It is perhaps no coincidence that these are two of the players who arrived for big money last summer but are yet to show their worth.
Tare’s chats came on the same day in which coach Massimiliano Allegri also called the entire team to the gym. In calm but firm tones, he reminded his men of the sense of responsibility necessary to be at a glorious and prestigious club like Milan, and that destiny is in their hands.
Both Jashari and Nkunku started in the recent defeat to Sassuolo but did very little of note in a positive sense. If anything, the Swiss was noticed more for a mistake early on leading to the first goal, while the Frenchman was anonymous. Will they be given another chance versus Atalanta?

Can you talk to the manager? Sarcasm noted
talk to FurMon
Talk with manager?
Should Allegri use his feet to pass or shoot instead of Jashari and Nkunku ?
Tare should speak, not with players. Because players suck, but with Cardinale and Furlani, for plusvalenza future buy of players kind of, which cant pass or run.. and where are the goals.
So, he goes to Milanello to talk to the players that barely play. Not the players that start every game and are trash. He should be talking to Maignan, Pulisic, Leao, Tomori. Or maybe he should be talking to the coach
It is not about technical capabilities. We have seen Leao and Pulisic score before. Gimenez, Nkunku, and Fuelkrug have also scored before. The thing is the players are all but mentally shattered, if not already.
He sets the team of to be crap offensively. He doesn’t use a player for much of the year and then throws him into a big game. Yeah, while he doesn’t pass or shoot, he has a huge influence on the team.
Things collapsed once they let Franck Kessie leave. Sell off most of the team, find a proper CDM to replace Kessie, and surround Pulisic, Rabiot, Modric and the new CDM with very young hardworking players.
Allegri should opt a better formation and tactics this so called 3-5-2 isn’t working at all.
I agree with you on this i think 343 would be a better formation
Tare is a pawn himself. Who is HE going to motivate or reassure if he himself doesn’t even know what the managers are planning. Hahaha
I guess thats the only reason he got hired, to talk with the players. Furlani and Co do the transfer market, pick the player they want to buy.
Maybe he promised to sell them in a discounted price as they’ve showed on the pitch that they want to be elsewhere?
Well… Maybe Jashari wants to stay but doesn’t look like he’s up to the task.
