Tatarusanu aims a derby day dig: “I think we are a more united group than Inter”

By Oliver Fisher -

Ciprian Tatarusanu has released a brief but bold statement to SportMediaset ahead on tonight’s derby, claiming Milan are a ‘more united group’ than Inter.

After Saturday’s defeat against Lombardy neighbours Atalanta, Milan will have a chance to put it right against another rival when they play Inter tonight.

The Coppa Italia quarter-final between the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri this evening might have taken on a different meaning had both teams not slipped up at the weekend, but now it has become almost an obligation that there is an immediate reaction.

Tatarusanu spoke briefly to SportMediaset on the day of the game and was asked what he thinks the difference between the two sides is.

“I think we are a more united group than Inter,” he said (via MilanNews).

Tatarusanu is of course all set to start in goal tonight as Gianluigi Donnarumma was sent off from the bench during the Round of 16 win over Torino at San Siro.
