Club Brugge have a player worth a certain value, in their eyes, and have clubs willing to pay that much. As well, they have already shown that they can and will play games without him, regardless of whether that stance is forced.
Sticky situation
It is not so easy for Jashari, who has turned down every other offer barring the one from the Rossoneri. There is no alternative for him, and Sacha Tavolieri has stated that he is the only one losing at this point, on his X account.

It is very interesting that Charles De Ketelaere’s move to Italy is the reason why things are not progressing, indeed. However, it makes it slightly more frustrating with the Diavolo no longer having any benefit from this move.
Why do they not want to sell to Milan because of keteleare?
I think it might have several reasons. Main reason is something regarding to sell on clause – Milan somehow went on to pay a low sell on clause, something I have read might have frustrated club Brugge. Also since it was such a long fight for CDK and Milan opting to sell him after 1 year might also make club Brugge frustrated. “if you really want our best player just to sell them a year later, pay us double” kinds thought process.. idk really but that’s my feeling of it.
Apparently, Belgians can also have vendettas.
Who cares. Move on and address the rest of your market then circle back to this kid and play hard ass all you want.

What do you mean? Leeds was offering more than Milan but the player forced a transfer to Milan. Brugge not letting it happen again…
Move on. There will always be others. What there won’t be is a postponement of the start of the season to allow us to finish our transfers.
The problem this kid isn’t worth 40m, he hasn’t showed that he plays at a level where he is worth the kind of money Brugge wants. Simple. Move on, we can look elsewhere within Serie A, maybe abroad. Maybe bring in more experience.
This isn’t Manchester United, you don’t just throw 40m around like that only for things not to work out then you sit with a mess like they have unable to sell players on salaries and for transfer fees nobody in the football world is going to pay for them.
If he is not going for 38M then so be it. Brugge is trying to teach its current and prospective players a lesson here. We really do not lose in any way in this deal even if we end up paying 40M. Jarashi has lost everything at this point, Brugge had proven itself to be tone dead and inhumane. Milan will never lose here.

Milan drives a wedge between player and club and then tries to use the will of the player to drive price down while other clubs will meet Brugge demands.
CDK took up the whole mercato and Jashari looks the same.
If i was Brugge I’d be charging Milan a special increased price. I find this action by Milan grubby.
