AC Milan midfielder, Ismael Bennacer, has become quite the commodity with teams such as PSG, Manchester United, and Manchester City courting him for his services.
Manchester City seems to be the top contender for Bennacer as they 22-year old will replace David Silva, who is set to leave when the season ends.
Bennacer has developed into a start with Milan, who acquired him from Empoli last year on a five-year €16million deal. The deal is reported to have a release clause of €50million.
However, Milan are not willing to let go of the midfielder so easily and has asked for nothing less than the release clause amount in return. Furthermore, the release clause does not kick-in until next summer which means, teams will have to wait until then to pursue Bennacer.
This may prove to be a blessing in disguise for Milan as Torino has shown an interest in signing Rade Krunic and Danielle Baselli, both midfielders. While the two may not be as valuable as Bennacer, both are skilled and experienced.
Bennacer staying with Milan, at least until next summer, will likely benefit the team. During the course of the year, Bennacer drew praise as one of the top players for Milan, before the hiatus due to COVID-19.
He has logged a total of 1,920 minutes in 23 appearances and a
goal. 300 of those minutes were in Coppa Italia. The midfielder started his career with Arsenal where he failed to meet expectations during his stint from 2015 to 2017.
He was moved to Empoli and then made the switch to Milan. You can get the latest on betting odds on player transfers and make a little extra cash.

The Argentina football season was cut short, ending in April due to COVID-19 but Thiago truly shined and exceeded the expectations of his manger and others. But Milan aren’t
alone in the sweepstakes for the rising star as Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Manchester City have all shown interest.
Sources claim that the release clause for Almada is
between €25-26 million.
Almada isn’t the only midfielder linked to AC Milan. There are several others which should excite Milan fans in terms of the future of the team.
