AC Milan have tabled a contract offer in a bid to beat Sevilla to the signing of Marseille winger Florian Thauvin, according to a report.
Calciomercato.com recently reported that Milan have had the Frenchman at the top of their list for a long time. Ricky Massara, the Rossoneri’s sporting director, likes the player a lot and tried to sign him as early as this past summer.
They added that Milan have already received the ‘yes’ of Thauvin and a transfer is a concrete possibility but there isn’t an agreement on the figures yet despite a four-year deal being offered to the former Newcastle man.
According to what is being reported by Telefoot in France (via Daniele Longo), the Rossoneri have indeed put on the table a contract until 2025 at €3m net per season.
That of course amounts to a total value of €12m net or what will end up being around €21m gross when factoring in tax and the Growth Decree which would kick in after two years.
