Telefoot: PSG make Milan star Leao a top target amid potential Mbappe exit

Rafael Leao has ended up in the sights of Paris Saint-Germain, who have placed the winger high up on their shortlist for the summer, per a report. With Kylian Mbappe potentially leaving the French capital, it could be an opportunity for Milan to make money.

Leao has struggled a bit this season, having not scored in the league since September, and Milan are hoping that he can end this goal drought soon. However, he still has six goals and six assists to his name, resulting in some interest from abroad.

According to Telefoot reporter Saber Desfarges, Paris Saint-Germain have expressed their interest in Leao, putting him high up on their shortlist for the summer. They have already positioned themselves constantly, as the journalist continues, and the winger is aware of the interest.

Leao renewed his contract with Milan in May last year and has a release clause of €175m. The 24-year-old’s value has perhaps decreased a little since, but the Rossoneri will still demand high figures to even consider parting ways with their star.

Kylian Mbappe has been linked with a PSG exit for a few years now and it could perhaps materialise in the summer, as his contract will expire. The French side might need a replacement, therefore, and it seems Leao is the chosen one.
