Telegraph: Milan show interest in out-of-favour Manchester City player

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan have shown interest in signing Kyle Walker from Manchester City in the summer transfer window after the Englishman fell out of favour under Pep Guardiola, a report claims.

As has been reported by The Daily Telegraph, the Rossoneri think that there is a situation to exploit in the Premier League and feel Kyle Walker can create completion with Davide Calabria at right back.

Walker was a starter in City’s FA Cup semi-final on Saturday but he has not started for Guardiola’s side in the Premier League for two months.

Walker’s trademark is his incredible pace but he seems to have been phased out by Guardiola from a tactical perspective. He only has one year left on his current contract which means he is a viable target for anyone.

From January onwards, he will be able to negotiate with clubs for a new adventure, although his wages may be high for Milan.
