More and more tension continues to develop between Ardon Jashari and Club Brugge, as he hopes to join AC Milan soon.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) report this morning, the Jashari soap opera is perhaps surpassing that of the summer of 2022 for Charles De Ketelaere. That also featured the same two sides: on one side Milan as the buyer, on the other Club Brugge as the seller.

History repeats itself, and in fact, it’s getting even tougher because De Ketelaere never quite reached the breaking point that the Swiss midfielder has reached this time around.

Brugge have not yet approved the same. Yesterday evening, Jashari’s agent met with the Belgian club and reiterated his client’s desire to move to Milan.
The Nerazzurri’s response, also expressed through sporting director Rigaux, who is on vacation with his family, was the same as always: not unless €40m is the offer.
The goal is to achieve the club’s record transfer fee, and at the moment the Milan management have no intention of moving away from their offer of €32.5m plus bonuses. This is why they continue to live in this prolonged limbo.
The Swiss midfielder trained alone throughout pre-season, even missing the Belgian Super Cup that Brugge won on Sunday. Only yesterday did he work with the squad again, but only for 15 minutes to do some work in the gym.
Now Jashari finds himself at a crossroads: either resume training, considering that the league season begins on Sunday and then there are the Champions League preliminary rounds, or fully revolt against the club.

Yeah I agree as it definitely looked legit but as I had not been awake for a long time when i saw the post I hadn’t checked how many followers he had and that was actually what showed him being a troll.
Sure Milan should be able to close this deal either by increasing the fixed offer by maybe lessing some bonuses or add maybe a 10% resale clause or simply just fork up with the extra cash. It seems like a reasonable offer but in the end its Brugge who makes the call what they find reasonable or not.

As I said before, when a player wants to leave and you have a good offer for him, it is best to let him go. If you force him to stay, that player will no longer play for you with pleasure and it will decrease both his performance and his market value. I cannot understand why the management of Club Brugge behaves in such an aberrant way, with such malice and stubbornness for a fairly small stake. 2 million euros more is for them a matter of ambition, a goal in itself to receive 40 million fixed, an obsession. If Milan offered 20 or 25 million maximum, I understood that Brugge cannot leave that much in the price but at 38 million to be so stubborn to inflexibly ask for 40 million, not to make a minimum of compromise seems to me something more than pathological in the realm of these people from Brugge. A club whiteout elegance and class.

I will not argue with you. I say just one thing. I saw this “movie” thousand times before. When a club refuse to sell a player who really wants to leave this never ever goes well in time for club and player. The offer made by Milan is more reasonable for Jashari. if this thing happened to Milan, some epl club want to buy Leao for £65 mil and Milan want to sell him for £70 mil and reject their offer, also Leao is make a fuss about it and want to move, would you blame Milan?
because if that club wants Leao they can add £5 mil more and it’s done.

I know everyone wants to hate on the management for their mistakes but at the end of the day they’ve not done anything that Berlusconi and co haven’t done. Regardless this negotiation isn’t a case of incompetence it’s a case of a seller and a buyer with two different valuations. Milan are doing the right thing, let Brugge ruin their relationship with the player or repair it either way Milan can put this signing on the back burner and focus on an RB.

Just move on and get a serie A experienced midfielder like Prati or Fabbian, cheaper, used to the league and culture and better for our identity, we don’t need yet another foreigner to add to our random bunch of imports
Exactly I think Brugge are overvaluing him. I know he’s a Milan fan but I bet he’d be just as interested in a move to Arsenal or RM etc. he’s a young talent with lots of promise, like Joao Felix. We see these players every year. Sometimes they become top tier players and sometimes they become the worst signing of the decade. With an unproven player I think the strategy of sticking close to your own valuation is prudent for better or worse only bet money you can and are willing to lose.

Out of 38m on the table 32.5m is the fixed amount rest are bonuses, out of which 2.5 million are easy to achieve and the rest are hard ones to get. In my opinion that’s the sticking point but brugge being brugge they are pinching every drop out of milan…..its their player they can brag but we should move on season is on head we shouldn’t being leaving it for very end…our squad should be complete by now.

My fear is anytime we buy a player in this kind of manner, they turn out below expectations. Probably because all eyes would be on him to perform immediately and the player plays under intense tension
