Tuttosport: From Lauriente to Openda – the candidates to refresh Milan’s attack

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will need to freshen up their attack ahead of the new season and there are a number of targets on their list, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) talks about how Milan and Napoli will do battle on the field on Sunday night but will also compete for some of the same objectives when the window reopens, with one being Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund.

However, the Rossoneri management know that his asking price is already at €50m and that is why some alternatives are being considered, with two of them currently playing in Ligue 1: Lois Openda of RC Lens and Jonathan David of Lille.

Furthermore, there are a couple of wingers that appeal to Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, with Armand Laurientè (Sassuolo) and Gustav Isaksen (Midtjylland) standing out above all. For the left side, a lot depends on what happens with Rafael Leao and Ante Rebic’s future.

    1. Same here with the exception of Laurientè. He has already proven he can dominate in Serie A. Hojlund seems promising but his waaaay overpriced. Remember what happened with Piatek. And he had scored over twice as many than the Dane.
