The latest on the fitness of key Milan trio ahead of upcoming Celtic and Sampdoria games

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli is hoping to have a clean bill of health soon as three players work towards a full recovery, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Ismael Bennacer gas recovered from the muscle fatigue that kept him out against Fiorentina on Sunday.

The Algerian midfielder, who is celebrating his 23rd birthday today, trained with the team that played at the weekend and will be available for Thursday’s game.

Meanwhile, Zlatan Ibrahimovic underwent a routine check-up on Monday to assess how the recovery from the muscle problem sustained against Napoli is progressing.

Both the Swede and Rafael Leao – who also has a muscle problem – will continue to work individually but the hope is that they can return to training with the group soon.

Daniele Longo (via Twitter) believes that Leao will be available for the game against Sampdoria this coming weekend as the Marassi.
