The Sun: Sheffield United to ask about signing Milan forward on loan

Sheffield United are looking to add a new striker before the window closes and they have set their sights on Divock Origi, a report claims.

It is now known that Milan do not see Origi as a part of their plans moving forward because he was left out of the USA tour and has not featured in any of the preseason friendlies, while he continues to train alone at Milanello too.

Sheffield Untied meanwhile have lost Iliman Ndiaye to Marseille and both Oli McBurnie and Rhian Brewster are currently sidelined with injuries.

According to The Sun, the Blades will ask for Origi on loan, offering him the return to the Premier League that he seems to want.

The Belgian has struggled since joining the Rossoneri scoring just twice last season but he knows England well, having netted in six Merseyside derbies for England and in the Champions League semi-final and final.

Now, the 28-year-old must make a decision on whether to return to the north of England, and of course Milan must be open to the idea of a loan.
