The Times: Milan keen on out-of-favour Man City defender who could welcome move

By Oliver Fisher -

Another source in England have claimed that AC Milan are interested in signing defender Kyle Walker from Manchester City this summer.

According to The Times, Walker is a target for Milan in view of the summer transfer window and he could choose to try a new challenge given that he seems to have fallen out of favour under Pep Guardiola.

It seems as though Guardiola has changed systems and he is trusting Rico Lewis in that role, while he has also been playing with a three-man defence and with John Stones also sliding over on occasion.

Walker could therefore consider leaving given that his game time has gone down drastically in recent weeks. Aston Villa have already shown an interest in signing him but Milan are keen and the England international could willingly accept a transfer to Serie A for what could be the last big contract of his career.
