GdS: Theao could re-unite in Saudi Arabia as Hernandez sends message with Inzaghi

AC Milan could see another of their stars head to Saudi Arabia this summer, with Rafael Leao being courted.

In recent years, Milan were built on the successes of Leao and Theo Hernandez. When they were firing, so were the Rossoneri and they were unstoppable at their best together. In fact, it is difficult to think of a more obvious partnership in recent history.

So, when he departed to Al-Hilal last summer, it was always going to be interesting to see how the Portuguese fared without Theo.

Unfortunately, it has not gone well and it is clear that he has missed that bond on the left-hand side. However, he could find it again this summer.

Theao re-united

There were suggestions that the Frenchman could head back to San Siro earlier this year, with Al Hilal facing a takeover. Though those suggestions seem dead in the water, even if some hope that not the case.

Instead, the new suggestion is that they may re-link with the winger heading to Saudi Arabia.

As Gazzetta dello Sport writes, it would not be his preferred destination. However, the forward could end up moving to the Saudi Pro League if no one from the Premier League or La Liga can satisfy his wishes.

Only then would he consider an alternative and it seems Theo is already trying to make a case. According to the report, along with Simone Inzaghi, pleas are being made to Leao to join him.

With more than 15,000 minutes spent together on the pitch, it could become a tangible reality…

  1. Hes learning the same lesson theo had to. If you spend an entire season lazily underperforming, and whining whenever you aren’t babied by the coaches, No big teams are gonna come save you

    1. Yeah what a mystery that top players underperform without ambition at the club, without leaders in the locker room and surrounded by cheap directors, coaches and players.

      1. The only thing cheap is your lies. Work on your maths. The club spend as much as possible without getting into debt. Are you complaining about spending because you’re an imbecile or because you’re an imbecile? How the money has been spent is the problem, not the amount.

        1. The owner has been adamant about his ROI, about moneyball, about “buy low sell high”, his ambition of 4th place in almighty Serie A, etc. The money has been spent according to the vision. Every mercato is catastrophic and yet every year there is clueless hope. People really thought last year that Milan would perform an entire season with something like 15 first team caliber players. Keep the faith.

          1. You don’t know what moneyball is, you bluffer. Moneyball is using analytics to identify players. Buy low, sell high? As opposed to what, buy high and sell low? Do you want the club to be bankrupt? As for your selective quotes, that is not what the aim is. It should be obvious from the amount of money they have spent what their aim is.

            Cardinale, May 2026:

“The idea that I’m doing this without the goal of being the No.1 is ridiculous. But the results must do the talking, and when performances do not reach the potential, like now, I’m surely nervous. I don’t coach, I don’t score goals or defend, but I can do my part. My part is to provide the financial resources to field a competitive team, not just in Serie A but, hopefully, in Europe too.”

“I’m not taking that money and putting it in my pocket. I’m reinvesting it. The narrative that financial discipline means not wanting to win makes no sense at all. Over the last three seasons, we’ve spent more than any other Serie A club in the transfer market. Now, maybe we didn’t spend it in the best way”

“The goal is to improve the organisation and bring it to a world-class level. The objective here is to win as much as possible every year.”

          1. Exactly the type of response I’d expect from someone who doesn’t have an argument. What you post here is a reflection of your character and that you Maldini FC fans are so dishonest that you push false narratives, that you think it’s okay to lie, shows what repugnant human beings you are.

Milan are THE biggest spenders in the league since RedBird took over. Anyone who complains about a lack of ambition is a lying POS. There is no argument, none, for saying there is a lack of ambition. Not a single fan has said the money has been spent well, not a single fan agrees with some of the appointments that have been made.

Pretending trying to make the club self-sustainable is a bad thing shows exposes just how ignorant some fans are.

        2. It’s not a bad thing, no one is saying that but there is simply no way of beating you in that “repugnant POS” department. You can quote
that guy all you want, it doesn’t mean, prove
and change anything, you are both ignorant
as f and you have no right to call (us) names.

Net spend is the only spend(ing) that matters in the end but it doesn’t me surprise me (that) you don’t know that, why would you?
