AC Milan star Theo Hernandez is seemingly heading towards an exit, so he is keeping fit on his holidays, as seen today.

For almost 18 months now, Theo has been rumoured to be leaving Milan due to contract issues. However, nothing has come of it, and it still might not yet, with a move to Saudi Arabia on hold, as his agent discusses the situation.

On the run

In the meantime, the Frenchman is keeping busy, despite being on holiday like some of his former and current teammates. Today, a video was posted on his account of him on a run on the street, keeping active.

Perhaps, it is done to keep fit in case anything accelerates in the next few weeks. Maybe he is just trying to get ready for next season. We shall have to seeโ€ฆ

    1. Athletes train all year round. They might take 10 days off but even then they do some light training.
Do you actually think that season ends and they stop training until preseason starts?

      1. That is so untrue. So many players come back, each year, overweight and out of form. Thรฉo is notoriously very dedicated to his fitness. Remember that trending pic a few years ago when Thรฉo, Leao and Giroud came back from holidays ripped af.

        1. That is so untrue because of exceptions? There are exceptions to every rule.
Athletes train all year round to stay in shape. In many sports they get fined if they come back into training camp overweight or out of shape.
BTW the player that you say is notoriously dedicated to his fitness, Theo, came in notoriously out of shape last summer. Remember Theo’s play at the start of the season trending?
Being ripped in football means absolutely nothing. Looking in shape and being in football shape are 2 totally different things.

          1. Im not sure what is the exception. Many players come back out of shape. Guardiola famously said when he took charge of Manchester City that many guys in the team were not in form and he was adamant that he wanted to change the mentality. I have a friend who was playing CS at night with Neymar before L1 games haha

Iโ€™m just tired of people blaming Thรฉo for anything, he has been a true professional with a work ethic and he had a rough year, which is understandable.

          2. Programming, regimen or whatever one calls it indicate that an athlete should train all year around, with generally lighter training, GPP and more general stuff during preseason.
Are there many athletes who just use the summer to do jack sh!t ? Of course. But these are lazy individuals who are not serious or think that their talent and skills is enough to make up for it.
As a general rule, an athlete SHOULD be training year around with maybe a maximum of one or two weeks without training.

      2. Some take a couple weeks off, maybe more depending on how long their offseason is. Rest is important as well. He hasn’t had any time off for a few summers.

    2. Of course heโ€™s still training heโ€™s a professional athlete – I swear sometimes your comments kill me ๐Ÿ˜‚

  1. All i see is hearsay.. rumors… nonmilanistas keep pushing him out of milan too…

Leao stays, Mike’s stays….. Best for us is for theo to stay….

Signing new guys with no CL is going to be a hard. And milan has a quality squad….
Modric, a better coach, and a revense season is possible…

Look at napoli…what they did… why are we so hell and bend to blow it and restart lol…..

I get with several players it can be fluid… but this is what it is…

    1. I agree with you, we keep getting these articles about buying five or six new starters and people saying 20M per player is cheap…..

This is not a good summer for us to be chasing top talent because we’d have to overpay like crazy. Maybe it’s time we try to get the best out of the players we have and add one or two where we have a hole.

If a motivated Theo helps us qualify for the UCL, then it will be worth not selling him for a token amount.

    2. Last time I checked, we didn’t intend to sell them, it was them the players who requested to leave.
The management is only trying to grant them their wishes, but at the right amount.

For the fact that the management is playing hardball to sell them is a clear indication that with all things right, we do not intend to sell them.

A change in some professional behaviours will benefit both sides should we eventually decide to work together.

As a player, I love Theo.

  2. LMAO ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ wtf. Come on guys! One never played even remotely competitive or even semi competitive or amateur? Sheesh. In the off season it’s not all letting loose chowing down on junk food and beers. You still have to do gym work and prep for next season as an athlete. Yes it’s a “break” but it’s maintenance phase. I’m old but I still either do gym work or run, and right before the next season starts I get into jump training. So if a run out in regular season game is say anywhere between 6-10k, a 5-8 k run in the off season from time to time maintains at least the stamina part (also depends on how you de-load). Game fitness will come afterwards after the first two to three weeks of the season or preseason in case ppl think preseason doesn’t have merit.
But anyways, yea, this run out is normal. Man’s can’t even take a jog without it being tied to a transfer away from the club. What next? He ate a salmon salad to stay lean on vacation in Ibiza therefore he wants to transfer to Spain?? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
