MN: Theo Hernandez removed from Milan squad for Napoli game as fever worsens

By Oliver Fisher -

Some bad news has come from the AC Milan camp ahead of tonight’s game against Napoli as Theo Hernandez has been removed from the squad list.

MilanNews reports how Theo was initially called up by Stefano Pioli, but has now been removed from the list of available players for tonight’s match due to a worsening of the feverish state that has affected him all week in the build-up to the game.

Therefore, Fode Ballo-Touré will be the left-back for the crucial game at San Siro this evening and will have the task of keeping Matteo Politano quiet if Luciano Spalletti does pick him on the right flank.

Now we must wait and see if there’s a chance that Theo Hernandez will recover for the game on Wednesday night against Empoli away from home, and it obviously depends on how his condition changes between now and Tuesday when the final training session will take place.
