MN: Theo Hernandez absent from training ahead of Liverpool clash due to heavy cold

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s selection problems may well go from bad to worse as Theo Hernandez did not train with the rest of the squad this morning, a report claims.

As reported by MilanNews, training for tomorrow’s Champions League match against Liverpool at San Siro began this morning and it was noted that Theo Hernandez was not training with the rest of the squad.

The French full-back is in fact working out in the gym as he is struggling with a strong cold, and the coaching staff do not want to take risks ahead of tomorrow’s match against the Reds.

It comes after Antonio Vitiello of MilanNews reported that Leao suffered a strong muscular contusion in the back of his right thigh during Saturday’s win against Salernitana, which actually caused a small muscle injury to the femoral biceps. According to Daniele Longo, this means he will not be back against Liverpool.

  1. No Leao, no Theo??

I joked about Seedorf but he would be a miracle.

B-team vs one of 4 strongest teams. If Salah plays we are gone, out of Europe cup too.

Fire Milanlab team /psych coaching team

  2. We’ve got Balotelli-YayaToure/KoloToure, so fret not my Milan Brothers. This will be a walk in the park for the best team(no sarcasm intended) 😉.
