Theo Hernandez’s time at AC Milan will surely end this summer, and it seems he has a preference over his next club.
There has been a lot said about Theo in recent weeks, but very little has been positive for Milan. A move to Saudi Arabia was preferable, but the player did not agree to the Middle East as a new home. So, talks moved elsewhere.

Now, a move to Spain is probable, with Theo agreeing on terms with Atletico Madrid. However, the club now must find a meeting point, with Los Colchoneros failing to match the Rossoneri’s asking price.
Theo Time
According to Tuttosport, via Milan News, the Frenchman has already ‘promised’ himself to the Spanish club, and hopes that a move can be finalised by the clubs shortly. However, there needs to be movement on the figures.
In fact, there needs to be ‘great’ work done on the numbers, with the two clubs €15 million apart in their valuations. Understandably, the Diavolo want a figure close to what the riches of Saudi Arabia would have provided. However, there is not the same idea in Spain, where a €15m offer has been tabled.
There is confidence, though, that this can be sorted out shortly. Currently, it seems that the idea would be to meet halfway, in the region of €20-25m, a figure that is more than reasonable. With this money, the club would reinvest in a profile like Maxim De Cuyper, Destiny Udogie or Andrea Cambiaso.
Let him go, he already overstayed for an entire season in which he cost us against Leverkusen, now he promises himself to another club..what a loo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-ser! This great club, though currently being run to the ground by Cardinale & his incompetent clown management group of mercenaries, does NOT deserve the likes of those like him who are quick to ‘jump ship that they helped sink’!!

20-25 is not enough for for either of those three players, though it might be half of what is needed for a new LB.

I fully understand Theo Hernandez. it was time when Milan would sold him for really good price. but that was also time when the club was dominated by lack of competence.

what’s the replacement? Truffert from Rennes seems ideal for us. but probably we don’t have money for him. so may be Diego Rico or Aihen Munoz, are lower cost options with high quality. I don’t see Italian options, only our youngsters from academy. Cambiasso is very expensive and Udogie even more expensive.
He signed an extension with lower salary than he would get anywhere else a couple of years ago.
Since then they got rid of Maldini and have had sub par coaches and at the same time Theo has been underperforming since the Euros.
He’s been tired since the Euros. He needed rest, we could all see it, but he played 4000 minutes last season anyway.
Now we sold Reijnders, Mike might be gone, there is talk about Leao maybe gone, Pulisic is not extending either if the club is not serious about winning. Why would Theo stay in this club?
Maybe Theo can pay the missing millions by himself as some players do when they really want to join a specific team. 🙂

If Milan wants him, he will cost 28 million, but in the end he will go to Roma for 18 million. Or we will just read it that way if the negotiations start.

@Theo please pay the balance and you can go. Every club rejected years ago but it was Milan who rescued you and your career. This past season you were garbage but you can show yourself a real man by redeeming your last season flops by staying this coming season and show your quality and re-negotiate a new deal
