CM: Theo Hernandez could return to Milan thanks to PIF withdrawal – the situation

Theo Hernandez was another to add to the long list of sacrifices made by AC Milan that were regretted by the fans. Though it may not be a long regret.

When Theo left, it was not a shock. Indeed, it had been in the works for the majority of last season. So when it was confirmed, it was more of an annoying end to an unnecessarily drawn-out situation. Of course, his renewal was discussed two summers prior.

A lot more can be said about his exit and it probably has been. However, it may now be time to speak of a return.

Theo coming home?

According to a report from Calciomercato.com this morning, there is a chance that Al-Hilal will have somewhat of a fire sale. The Saudi Arabian PIF have withdrawn their funding and ‘negotiations’ with players will be necessary. Indeed, there are some who will have to give up their salaries and Theo could be one of them.

The Frenchman ‘dreams’ of a return to Milanello, to come home to the club which he never wanted to leave. It will depend on salaries and whether a line can be drawn on his renewal situation. Never say never, essentially.

When it was suggested that the PIF could aid the Rossoneri, no one probably expected it to happen in this manner…

  1. Americans are doing amazing stuff for their “allies” in the Middle East. A few years ago they were offering 200-300M transfer fees, now they have to embarrass themselves and give away players.

      1. Yeah, they might recover their pre “war” income once this ends, but their reputation as some sort of safe haven or financial center is gone forever. Especially when clowns arrested influencers because they did what they do – posted videos online.

      2. Whoa a Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferer in an AC Milan comments section 😄 You know people are laughing at you, right?

          1. MAx, the only person people are sad at is you.

Because first, you’re not talking football, second and more importantly, you think the whole world understand your little pathetic poem on the world view. lol 😀

          2. Clown, the story is about PIF withdrawing from the club where Theo is. Did you even read it? Of course you did but you don’t understand half of what you read. 😀 Hahahahah

        1. He is not even a Milan fan, is he??

putting up a milan related avatar thinks can people believe it. lol Foolish! haha

          1. Do you understand anything? 😀 This is ridiculous. You have no clue what you read. YOu’re just randomly replying. 😀

          2. Rosso-Dejon step 1 – Learn English. You can’t attack people and try to insult someone and you don’t even understand what they said. I know you can, but it just makes you ridiculous.

      1. As Henry Kissinger put it: “It may be dangerous to be America’s enemy, but to be America’s friend is fatal.”

  2. I don’t want to rehash Theo’s issues, but I bet he’d play better under someone like Allegri than the portuguese maybe’s he flopped under.

    1. The same was said about Leao, how did that turn out.
Fans like to continue finding excuses for certain players. Its never the player, it has to be someone else that is the reason why they are bad.

      1. Leao is flopping under Max because he spent the season playing out of position. I don’t see how your point is relevant here.

        1. Last season he flopped because the coaches asked him to not be lazy.
This season he flopped because Max plays him out of position.
Can’t wait for next season’s reason why a flop keeps flopping.

          1. Last season pretty much the whole team flopped, wouldn’t you say? I’m not sure that singling out Leao proves anything…

          2. “Last season pretty much the whole team flopped, wouldn’t you say? I’m not sure that singling out Leao proves anything…”

No, it was only Leao and Theo. If there were some other players there Milan would win the title. You don’t get it, but Guglielminpetro gets everything, don’t question it.

        2. Its a pattern that you are missing.
Every year he flops, but its somehow everyone else’s fault. Coach, system, position. As I said, if he stays, I can’t wait for next season excuse why he is bad.

          1. It’s not a pattern – it’s Leao in his entirety. This is always the kind of player he will be, inconsistent, w/ moments of brilliance. I’ve said many times, this is the only version of Leao we can afford. If he was the player we wanted him to be, he’d be at ManCity or any other elite club.

          2. Flopped how? He has 25 goal contributions last season, in 50 games. He flopped hard? Pulisic has 29 goal contribution in 50 games. He is world class.

Are you a lunatic? It is a serious question, only someone that has some mental condition can write stupid sh*t like that?

Season before that he had 3 more goal contributions in 3 games less than Pulisic. He also flopped.

            What? 😀 You’re a clown man.

          3. You already tried to spread that delusion how “strikers don ‘t work well under Allegri” and I’ve easily proven you’re full of s**t and that your subjective opinion isn’t close to reality. If you think something, you are probably wrong.

    2. Yes the 352 would have suited him.

He was solid in defence when he put his mind to it. Recall him filling in well at CB during and injury crisis when Maldini was still at the club.

  3. Theo back would be a quality add if he comes back w a bit of humility and willingness to work. He has all the quality necessary to help the team. Before was his attitude. With hunger to prove everyone wrong he may find his heights again.

Davide could provide depth at WB and CB. It would be improtant to keep him integrated into the first team getting regular minutes.

As for Rafa he has dealt with injuries since the Calf injury vs bari. He is out of position and played better with a striker. Same as Pulisic. Each has played better when not paired w the other.

  4. What a non-sense article. Like Cardinale would bring back a Maldinini sympathizer. I guess the next “BREAKING NEWS” would M&M coming back and they would give piloli a crazy offer to take over.

  5. maximilian mittelstadt stuttgart starting lb aaron Martin Genoa 2nd string lb davide bartesaghi on dry loan pervis estupinan sold 4231 442 433 532 no other formations this back three revolution feels of desperation of yet another coach who the game is passing him by wenger at arsenal did the same thing and it was mediocre and they ran him out the door allegri mourinho wenger everybody gets old disguising it isn’t necessary!

  6. Next week news: tonali wants to go back to milan.
2 weeks again: romagnoli wants to retired with milan.

    😅🤣

  7. I don’t think so, not because I dont want him back but because we wont be able to afford him. Even if he wants milan like Kessie his agent will force a move to the club who pays most.
