The agent of Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva has hinted that his client would not reject the chance to return to AC Milan if the terms were right.
Vito Angele recently told us that Milan are thinking about a reunion with the centre-back and that although at the moment there are still no concrete negotiations, Milan could soon work with the Brazilian’s agent.
Tranfer source Louis Girardi claimed not long after that talks have begun between Milan and Silva’s representative with a view to bringing him back in June. In addition, parisunited are claiming PSG have no intention of offering him a new deal, with Milan watching the situation closely.
Speaking exclusive to the microphones of Calciomercato.it about his client’s future, Paulo Tonietto – a well-known Brazilian agent – revealed that several clubs are trying to sign the 34-year-old.
“We haven’t talked about a possible contract renewal with the PSG. Thiago’s interest is to stay in Paris, but it doesn’t just depend on him,” he said.
“If he does not renew, anything can happen. Thiago has a special love for Milan, but I have to say that I have not had any contact with the Milan management. Other clubs have already tried Thiago, but for the moment we have not opened any negotiations.”
