AC Milan’s dependance on Christian Pulisic goes beyond just numbers, but the stats do show how much the team rely on him to create.
MilanPress begin a piece by writing: ‘This is Christian Pulisic’s Milan’. Despite usually starting as a winger, the American is always at the centre of the danger that the team create and is often present on the scoresheet.
Since the beginning of the season, the former Chelsea man has scored eight goals in 17 games, with five assists to add. It is a total of 13 goal involvements, while these have not come in bunches, i.e. he doesn’t tend to get multiple within the same game.
In fact, there are only five games in which he played that he did not get either a goal or an assist. Those were, in order: Torino, Bayer Leverkusen, Napoli, Monza and Juventus. The number of goals for Milan in these matches: 2, 0, 0, 1, 0.
The No.11 also set his personal Champions League record last night against Slovan Bratislava with his third goal, and has been involved in four goals in his last five appearances in the top European competition (three goals and one assist).
He is indispensable for Paulo Fonseca if he wants the Rossoneri to dream of the top eight places, while his numbers have begun to attract the interest from certain clubs in the Premier League it seems.
It is. Looks at his ball control & the way he moves it forward. Extraordinary.
As for Fonseca, I believe his dream is to finish Top 8 in Serie A.
Honestly where would milan be without him. He has single handendly kept fonze in a job for months now.
Pulisic isn’t going back to England.
But it would help if Milan signed a top class center back, played a 3-5-2 and moved Theo to wingback and reduced the risk that his forward play has on the defensive end.
The 343/541 thing vs Madrid is the way to go, considering Leao cannot play striker
The only team in England I can see him leaving for would be Man United. Just because it was his boyhood team and he’s probably aware he’s an upgrade over their current wingers. That said, he loves his quality of life in Italy and loves the team. I think the warmer weather and playing more consistently is helping his hamstrings and health overall and he is definitely aware of this. Bad management/owners and lack of European football are probably the only things that would cause his eye to wonder.
*wander*
He’s been pure class. Hopefully he can stay healthy and keep it up.
Great player if you remove the dancing.
(Joke I am NOT getting a 200 word insult for this)
That is our best player for now
If leao can serious like dis too our attack is good.
