The AC Milan squad were in training again on Thursday to continue preparing for the trip to face Napoli, and the group got even bigger.

As MilanNews write, this was Milan’s second day of training at the Milanello training centre under the orders coach Massimiliano Allegri and his staff, after the team were given three days off from Sunday through until Tuesday.

More internationals return

The Rossoneri continued their preparations for the big match on Easter Monday, which will be played at the Maradona. Allegri welcomed back Adrien Rabiot, Davide Bartesaghi and Zachary Athekame from international duty.

Tomorrow, the final returns are scheduled, including Luka Modric, the Belgian duo of Koni De Winter and Alexis Saelemaekers, as well as Pervis Estupinan and Christian Pulisic. The three players who returned immediately trained on the pitch with the team.

The situation is different for the injured players. Matteo Gabbia trained separately like yesterday and will aim to recover from the trip to Naples. Rafael Leao had a separate training session on the pitch today, a positive sign ahead of Monday evening.

The Portuguese is certainly feeling better, but we’ll have to wait a few days to see whether he’ll be called up or not for the game in Naples.
