Three key battles to watch out for during AC Milan’s clash against Hellas Verona

By Oliver Fisher -

There will be several key battles across the park that will decide the game between AC Milan and Hellas Verona at San Siro tomorrow night.

The Rossoneri sit second in the Serie A standings with six wins out of seven in the league, but the meet a Verona side who are unbeaten in their last four after a slow start, with both sides having both found the net 15 times. The official website have picked out three of the most interesting duels…

Leao vs. Caprari

Leao has three goals under his belt already this season and has made probably his best start to a campaign for Milan, while the Verona forward – who arrived from Sampdoria on the last day of the transfer window – has scored in both of the Gialloblù’s two league victories so far this campaign.

Brahim Diaz vs. Barak

There are some doubts about whether Brahim will start, but if he does then it will be worth keeping an eye on how the Spaniard and the Czech playmakers each ket on as each play key tactical roles for their respective sides.

Brahim has already scored three times in the league with all three being match-winning goalks, while Barák has bagged two goals and played on the right during the past few rounds.

Giroud vs. Simeone

This is likely to be the battle between the only two strikers on the field, at least from the start. Giroud has only made one league appearance at San Siro so far but netted a brace against Cagliari at the end of August, while Simeone has scored in consecutive matches.
