Three reliable journalists confirm Milan have struck €28m deal with Chelsea for Tomori

Fikayo Tomori will be Milan’s next signing this transfer window, after securing Soualiho Meite and Mario Mandzukic. The English centre-back is all set for the move and will have his medical soon.

Three reliable journalists, namely Fabrizio Romano, Matt Law and Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews) all confirm that it’s a loan with an option to buy at €28m (£25m). The loan is for six months and thus the Rossoneri will have to decide in the summer.

Law adds that bonuses with a total value of €5.6m (£5m) are included in the agreement. Tomori will arrive in Milan tomorrow afternoon, per Di Marzio, and he will undergo his medical tests immediately to conclude the transfer.

Stefano Pioli wants to have the defender available already for the game against Atalanta on Saturday evening. Obviously, he would start on the bench but he could be needed as captain Alessio Romagnoli is suspended.
