TMW: AC Milan willing to sacrifice Suso, but there is a problem

As Gigio Donnarumma looks set to stay at AC Milan, the Rossoneri could decide to sacrifice Suso instead, in order to fund their ongoing transfer market campaign.

In fact, the sale of Suso would guarantee the club a good capital gain, given that he was signed more or less for free four years ago (€1.5m from Liverpool).

Furthermore, Suso most likely won’t have a spot in Giampaolo’s 4-3-1-2 formation next season, as he’s more comfortable when playing on the right flank while the competition is tough in the middle.

The release clause for Suso is set at €38m, which no one seems willing to pay at the moment. Roma are the only side interested in the player, per TuttoMercatoWeb, though they aren’t willing to pay much for the player.

In the past two seasons, Suso has played a crucial role for the Rossoneri, being one of the few creative players in the squad. Last season, he bagged seven goals while assisting an additional nine in the league.
