TMW: Calhanoglu likely to leave Milan as Juventus and Man Utd table contract offers

By Oliver Fisher -

The feeling is that Hakan Calhanoglu will leave AC Milan and he has two attractive offers on the table, according to a report.

TMW writes how after signing Mike Maignan from Lille and choosing to let Gianluigi Donnarumma walk for free – who will end up at either Barcelona, Juventus or Paris Saint-Germain – Milan are consider the same course of action for Calhanoglu.

The negotiations over a renewal are still frozen as there is sizeable distance between the offer on the table from Milan and the amount Calhanoglu wants to sign for. Time is running out and the feeling is that the future of the Turkey international will not be Rossonero.

There will be new talks to try and bridge the gap but two teams have already tabled important offers to the 27-year-old. On the one hand Juventus have come forward, as Calhanoglu is a profile that also has the approval of Massimiliano Allegri, while Manchester United have also tabled a bid.

  1. if this guy doesnt want to renew is contract then i guess DE Paul is available for his spot and Hakan doesnt have the heart of a Milanista…

  2. Seems a really strange one, because he’s not going to get into the starting 11 of most teams being rumoured – he’s hardly going to depose Fernandes from the AM spot at Man Utd. Juventus is probably the most natural fit, but they’ve no shortage of players of similar ability and they’re paying a huge amount for them already.
