AC Milan may have to hurry their plans for a renewal as Manchester United have asked about Hakan Calhanoglu, a report claims.
According to a report from TMW, Calhanoglu is a player that is coveted by many different clubs, both in the Bundesliga and in the Premier League above all.
There have been reports in the media suggesting that his renewal with Milan has not moved forward, and with the Turkey international’s contract set to run out in 2021, various teams are beginning to monitor the situation with more interest.
Technical director Paolo Maldini is on vacation and Calhanoglu’s entourage are in Germany, so the feeling is that they could return to talk after August.
In the meantime, however, calls are beginning to arrive from several clubs. Among those who have expressed an interest is Manchester United, as the opportunity to take a player like Calhanoglu at a non-astronomical figure has cemented him as a concrete target for the Red Devils.
Calhanoglu racked up nine goals and nine assists in Serie A this season including six goals and eight assists after lockdown.
