TMW: Idea of Milan move slips away as Roma can close Belotti signing for €25m

AS Roma appear to be closing in on the signing of Andrea Belotti from Torino and can seal a deal if they raise their offer, a report claims.

According to TMW, the captain of Torino – who has a contract expiring in 2022 – is in the sights of Roma who are looking for a starting centre-forward for next season given that Edin Dzeko is set to depart.

After seeing a first offer of €15m rejected, the Giallorossi have put €20m on the table, but the request of Torino is €30m. A raised bid from Roma at around €25m is likely to be enough to complete the operation, also because Belotti has already given his approval regarding the potential transfer to Rome.

The hypothesis of joining his boyhood club Milan is now further away, especially given that the Rossoneri have decided to move for Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud instead, as per multiple reports.
