AC Milan have another Atalanta-linked forward in their sights as they are still interested in Papu Gomez of Sevilla, according to a report.
Milan were repeatedly linked with a move for Gomez during the January transfer window when it became clear he would be leaving Atalanta, but he ended up sealing a move to Sevilla where he has not settled in seamlessly.
According to TuttoAtalanta of the TMW network, Milan are on the lookout for a new playmaker and while the name of Josip Ilicic has been mentioned repeatedly in the last couple of days, Milan have not forgotten about the Argentine.
The 33-year-old is not particularly shining in Sevilla and – as already widely said – he has some business (gym and the opening of his new restaurant) in Bergamo which could favour a return to northern Italy for the forward, which is why a return to Serie A with Milan ‘cannot be ruled out’.
Silvio Berlusconi’s Monza have set their sights on him too for if they get promotion to Serie A and it is possible that they could put together a package to tempt him back to Lombardia.
FUCK YEAH! Bring the Maestro, even for two years, then give him to Monza so that both parties could/would be happy!
