TMW: Brighton representative in Milan for Lapadula

Since the arrival of Andre Silva from Porto, the futures of both Carlos Bacca and Gianluca Lapadula have become certain.

The former was in red-hot form to begin the season, but by the end of the campaign Lapadula was the man holding the starting spot in Vincenzo Montella’s 4-3-3 system.

As learned exclusively by Tuttomercatoweb, the former Pescara man was recently the subject of a survey by Charlton Athletic.

The League One club tested the water with the Peruvian striker, but the Rossoneri‘s asking price of €20million cooled their interest.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Vincenzo Morabito is in Milano acting as a representative for newly-promoted Premier League club.

Milan’s asking price remains €20million, a figure which has already forced Crystal Palace to withdraw their interest.

Lapadula spoke about his future last month amid rumours of a possible San Siro exit.

“My future? I am fine at Milan, I strongly wanted to join the club, now we will see,” he said after Italy’s 8-0 win over San Marino.

Reports last week suggested Milan are considering sending him to Genoa, with Giovanni Simeone moving to San Siro as a part of the deal.
