Giovanni Manna has ended up on AC Milan’s list of candidates for the sporting director role, according to a report, after impressing with his work at Napoli.
Milan are looking to add a sporting director to their management and while Fabio Paratici is the favourite, the Rossoneri have several names on the list. The latest to be added to said list is Giovanni Manna, who currently works as the sporting director of Napoli.
Marco Conterio of TMW states that Manna is ‘well aware’ of Giorgio Furlani’s interest, even if there has been no offer or official contact between the parties. Above all, the Milan CEO is impressed by how Manna has been able to work with Aurelio De Laurentiis and Antonio Conte, who are very strong characters.
Furlani wants to make a decision by the Easter holidays and if it’s not Paratici, then Milan will move for one of the alternatives. In addition to Manna, the likes of Igli Tare (formerly of Lazio) and Tony D’Amico (Atalanta) are also on the Rossoneri’s list.
Once a sporting director has been decided, Milan will also be able to make a decision on the next head coach. Sergio Conceicao is refusing to give up but his departure seemds almost certain.

Anyone managing to work with De Laurentis has to get some credit. Now I have never heard of the guy, but if he is doing ok at Napoli he can’t be bad.
But why are we punished day and night by this hopeless brat furlani??? He is unable to take a decision and seems to have no brain as well. Every single decision takes ages and ages. Sure that he will decide on milan ‘ s sporting director in august!!!!!
