TMW: Milan, Arsenal and Man City all admirers of teenage Celtic star

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s overseas scouting missions continue as they have set their sights on Celtic academy prospect Rocco Vata, a report claims.

Vata signed his first professional contract with Celtic at the age of 16 back in July 2021 and he is actually the son of ex-Celtic defender and former Albania international Rudi Vata. He can play as either a playmaker or a winger, and his performances are attracting the interest of several clubs.

TMW write how he is the star of Ireland’s Under 19 national team and he recently scored against Fulham, but also against RB Leipzig in the Youth League. He is a talent to keep an eye on, so much so that Milan and Juventus are watching him very closely, as are Roma, Arsenal and Manchester City.

However, the Scottish side have no intention of selling him but while their head coach Ante Postecoglou delays promoting him to the first team the interest will continue to grow. He is currently valued at €2m, the report adds.
