TMW: Milan asked Juventus about Rovella loan amid Lazio negotiations

Another source have claimed that AC Milan tried to hijack Lazio’s deal to sign Nicolo Rovella from Juventus as part of a double deal.

TMW reports that in the last few hours the Milan management picked up the phone to ask about the potential of inserting themselves into the Rovella race, knowing that Juventus are willing to let him leave.

However, the deal with Lazio is virtually complete and is in the finishing straight because it is part of a double operation involving Luca Pellegrini. Both will move to the Aquile on a loan with obligation to buy, for a combined fee of €21.

Milan asked about the potential of signing Rovella on loan given their desire to secure further cover in that area, but it seems as though they are a bit too late to the party with Lazio ready to welcome the duo for medicals in the coming days.
