TMW: Milan still lack Camarda contract agreement despite him turning 16

AC Milan still have no agreement in place with young striker Francesco Camarda for a contract extension but relations are good between the two parties.

As has been reported by TMW (via Pianeta Milan), the Rossoneri are not in a major rush to get Camarda tied down to a new contract despite there being serious interest in him from almost every big club in Europe.

He turned 16 recently which means that he is legally allowed to sign a new contract whenever he likes, and many fans assumed he would be signing one straight away as he is clearly such a special talent.

Instead, Milan do not want him to sign it until July. If they wait until July, the contract can run until 2027. If he signs it now, it will expire in 2026.

Even despite that plan, there is no actual agreement with Camarda and his agent Beppe Riso. Despite this slightly alarming news, there is no issue between the player and the club and it is known that he wants to become a professional footballer at Milan, not a different Italian club.

There has been speculation about whether Milan are going to fumble Camarda, but the club are not worried about the situation.
