TMW: Milan draw up five-man list of replacements as Donnarumma exit links persist

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have a number of potential options on their list of possible replacements for Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to a report.

There is widespread speculation claiming that the Rossoneri could be forced into selling their prized young goalkeeper this summer as his contract expires in 2021, and with no signs of an imminent renewal the club would risk losing him for free in a year’s time.

According to the TMW network, Milan have their eye on a number of different profiles should they require a new No.1, starting with Torino’s Salvatore Sirigu.

Despite the Granata’s explicit desire to keep him with a contract renewal capable of wiping out all rumours, there is the possibility that Milan make a serious attempt to sign the 33-year-old as a guaranteed short-term fix.

Juan Musso of Udinese is another option on the list, but the 25-year-old has also ended up in the notebook of Inter as they eye a successor to Samir Handanovic.

A possible attempt to snatch Alex Meret from Napoli cannot be ruled out, nor can turning to the talented Alessio Cragno of Cagliari, while finally Pierluigi Gollini of Atalanta could also help fill the void.
