TMW: Milan, Inter, Man Utd and Chelsea all possible destinations for Serbian centre-back

By Oliver Fisher -

The future of Nikola Milenkovic seems to be away from Fiorentina, but whether he remains in Italy or moves abroad remains a mystery, a report claims.

According to TMW, it is ‘inevitable’ that Milenkovic leaves Florence this summer given that his contract expires in 2022 and there appears to be no sign of a renewal, and the suitors are certainly not lacking.

One of his well-known admirers is Stefano Pioli, who gave him his big break during his time as Fiorentina manager and would also gladly welcome him at Milan if he managed to keep his position on the bench, but it cannot be excluded that Inter also move for the Serbian.

Mourinho is also admirer of Milenkovic so he could ask Roma’s owners to make an effort to fix their defence. In England, Manchester United are the most credible current option, but the fact Fali Ramadani is his agent means that the Chelsea hypothesis cannot be excluded either.
