Samuele Ricci remains a priority for the summer and according to a report, AC Milan are ready to ‘invest heavily’ in the Torino star to bolster their midfield.
The Rossoneri have been lacking a hard-working defensive midfielder for several years now, with Youssouf Fofana and Tijjani Reijnders both preferring more advanced roles this season. As such, the management is now ready to fill that void in the squad, having targeted the Torino star Ricci.

According to Niccolo Ceccarini of TMW, Milan are prepared to ‘step forward decisively’ in their pursuit of the player despite Torino’s hefty price tag of around €35m. Indeed, Ricci has been made a top target and that assessment doesn’t depend on the next sporting director, with everyone already in agreement.
While it would be an expensive signing, Milan have some departures to rely on in the summer and the No.6 role has been overlooked for far too long. It has had a clear effect on the Rossoneri’s success in the last few years, especially after Sandro Tonali’s departure, and now is the time to fix it.
It has previously been reported that Ricci would prefer a move to Milan as well, rather than Inter who also have expressed an interest in recent months.

why? Dont need another midfielder, get better defenders
The headline makes me churns feel embarrassed at the same time, ‘invest heavily’, we want to be in the top 10 best in Europe and £35m is a heavy investment, if that is our financial reality then Cardinal should walk away, Rui Costa is still our record signing, why can’t we spend £60 – £70m on 1 player just like Inter and alive have done, we end up spending £100m buying 5 players and we strike it lucky with 1 and 4 are a waste of time (RLC, Chuck, Tomori, EmersonR…the list goes on) we have spend close to £200m past few seasons and the only progress we have made player wise is Tijani and Pulisic and I know they are not worth £200m
Our owners and management are a not only ‘losers, but do
Not excel in the financial aspect because of them we have lots 10’s of million in revenues because of their ineptitude and indecision, whereby we have to chop and change, sorry ‘rebuild’ every 6 months
are you dumb? Serie A clubs cant spend 200m per season
go watch EPL
👍😂
Losers the lot of them, at least Maldini proved he was a winner he achieved more with a decent squad and an average manager and walked away with seria A.
Winning is a habit… , maybe but that habit has not been at Milanello now for and left us in a vacuum, void of any success
Sell tijjani first to city bro…
haha i really dont want to be synical milan fan but likelyhood is he will be playing for inter alonside Thuram… do you remember that when it was 100% we would sign him (insert crying and laughing faces)… … I do like Giminez though, so finger crossed…
