Genoa are working on a new contract for midfielder Nicolo Rovella as four top Serie A sides continue to show interest, a report claims.
According to TMW, both Milan clubs are interested in signing the 18-year-old regista, who idolises the Real Madrid icon Luka Modric, a player who is of course a Milan supporter.
The report adds that Rovella will be watched closely in the weekend’s game against Udinese by all the top Italian clubs, from Juventus and Milan to Inter and Roma.
The talented midfielder has a contract expiring in June 2021, and his agents and Genoa at work to agree a new deal with talks progressing well.
It is of course an ideal solution both for Genoa, who aim to protect themselves in the event of a possible future sale, and for the player who in any case will be able to keep developing professionally in a calm environment and without haste.
