AC Milan are still interested in signing Fiorentina duo Nikola Milenkovic and Federico Chiesa but have not yet made a breakthrough.
The Rossoneri have been repeatedly linked with moves for Milenkovic and Chiesa since the end of the 2019-20 season as they look for an upgrade in both the centre-back department and on the right side of the attack.
According to Enzo Bucchioni’s latest for TMW, Milan are ‘keeping the spotlight’ on the Serbia and Italy internationals, suggesting that there is still an interest in luring one or both to San Siro.
At the moment though, a potential exchange deal involving Lucas Paquetà has been rejected, and any kind of loan with option/obligation would not be of interest to La Viola.
Meanwhile, he adds that Brahim Diaz will soon be officially announced as a Milan player and so will Tiemoue Bakayoko.
Giacomo Bonaventura is close to signing for Fiorentina on a two-year deal with the option for a third.
