AC Milan have two Premier League defenders on their list ahead of January while they are close to signing a striker from Serbia, according to a report.
Niccolò Ceccarini also wrote about Milan’s objectives in his Sunday editorial on the transfer market on TMW (via Radio Rossonera). The striker role is one Milan are looking to strengthen and they will definitely try for Lille’s Jonathan David, but it will be difficult to do if the asking price is €40m.
Milan are also pushing hard to sign Matija Popovic, whose contract with Partizan will expire on December 31st. The agreement is one step away and a contract is ready for him until 2028.
On the centre-back front, the Rossoneri management are looking for the best option and they believe that a move for Chelsea’s Benoit Badiashile is possible. The key condition, however, is that the Blues open up to a loan. Also not to be excluded is Jakub Kiwior, who isn’t finding much playing time at Arsenal.
