TMW: Milan ready to negotiate price for Bayern Munich midfielder

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are ready to negotiate and try to lower the price for Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch who is one of two Dutch midfield targets, a report claims.

As has been reported by TMW (via Milan News), the Rossoneri have got two serious midfield targets that are both Dutch,

The first is Tijjani Reijnders from AZ Alkmaar who has already agreed on personal terms with Milan but a fee has not yet been agreed with AZ.

The other is Gravenberch who has been at Bayern Munich for one season after excelling as a youngster at Ajax.

Bayern are asking for a fee of about €30 million for the player who had limited involvement last season and is open to a move where he can play more regularly. Whilst that fee would be too high for Milan, they are willing to talk with Bayern and see whether it could be reduced.

    1. I don’t understand the reasoning behind paying for this guy when witg that money we could get SMS or Frattasi who would hit the ground running.

We should be getting a team together to win seria A and to challenge for CL not a team with high potential and be good one day.

The management have sacked Maldini, retained Pioli and sold Tonali they have to do a lot better then last season or they are failures, plain and simple.

Give us a first 11, with at least 5/6 world class players, give us a squad where we can rotate and challenge on 3 fronts!!!

  1. Gravenberch is like a young Milinkovic-Savic! He would be a dream for out midfield as he’d bully Serie A easily

  2. Finally redbird is looking at some quality!!! Get him and then get pulisic with a discount
A decent striker and a right back

  3. 30M is too much? Fck it these guys just threw around 20M for Loftus-Cheek. They said “we will recruit young promising cheap players” and their first recruit is a 27 yo expensive bench warmer. These guys are on lean or crack or something.

  4. Let me guess how this will go.

Milan: we want to sign Ryan
    Bayern: he costs 35M

Milan: we will give you 18M
    Bayern: goodbye

      1. Exactly. Just like Szobozlai. Maldini wanted him amd could have had him for 25M and Elliot said no. Leipzig came in paid the 25M and just sold him to Liverpool for 70M.

Same happened with Wesley Fofana. We could have had him for 30M and Elliot said no. Everton bought him for that price and sold him to Chelsea for 80M.

Same will happen for Botman, Konè, etc…many more examples. And ppl want to crucify M&M for not selling players but what about the players they did want to sign and weren’t allowed. We would have been flush with $$$. 25-30M a young player in todays market is nothing nowadays
